Every gig is just as important to us no matter where we are on the bill. All the same, headlining the Friday night of Copenhagen Popfest was pretty special. The crowd was really up for a good time and sang along to most of the bands. With us, people sang the loudest to Iron Lady, Not Tonight, Dear Morrissey and Treat Me Gently. That always means a lot.
Although there has been a Copenhagen Popfest before, 2014 was the first one put on by the current organisers. For a new Popfest it was well organised, promoted and attended. Most importantly, it had a great line-up of bands and DJs, so a big congratulations to Mikkel, Morten and Kasper for such a successful event – and somehow the dance-off between those on the dancefloor and the venue staff (who threatened to end the disco if people stopped dancing) made the weekend even more enjoyable. Especially since the disco dancers ultimately triumphed.

That’s it in terms of gigs for the moment, unless something pops up unexpectedly. We’re going to concentrate on new stuff over the coming months so expect a new album in 2015.
