Our debut album will be released by Plastilina Records on 15th Novemer. The feedback we have received so far has reinforced our belief that “Living and Growing” will be a highlight of 2010. Check out this and this for example. We are also honoured to be album of the week on BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal’s Rapal show. We’re sure there will be more of this to come but we’ll leave you to find it for yourselves. We just thought the first ever Felt Tips album reviews and plays deserved a mention (although we should add that Spanish Radio was playing tracks from Living and Growing in July).
Anyway, Living and Growing was funded by The Scottish Arts Council and the track listing is A Life More Ordinary, Boyfriend Devoted, Bought & Sold, Engaged for a Visa, Garden of Roses, Lifeskills, Dear Morrissey, Silver Spoon, Not Tonight and Double Bluff. The songs were recorded, mixed and mastered in 7 days with the excellent Brian McNeill at CaVa. The artwork was designed by Emma Sanderson who also did the artwork for Boyfriend Devoted. You will be able to order Living and Growing from Plastilina’s website
Keep an eye out for more Felt Tips gigs – we aren’t planning any tours but we are likely to randomly turn up some place near to where you live without much warning
