Until recently it seemed there was a chance we weren’t going to play in our home city this year, which wouldn’t have been ideal given we’ve just released our second album. Luckily, newly established Glasgow indiepop promoters Pop!South got in touch through twitter and we have now been added to the bill of a gig they are organising at the Glad Cafe in the south side of Glasgow on 30th July.
Not that we would want you to think we weren’t trying to get a gig close to home. We were actually exploring the possibility of a gig at the Glad Cafe, one of the city’s new venues, when Pop!South got in touch. Really pleased they did though, as this gig is just up our street, with New York’s The Ballet and Making Marks from Norway also playing.
